so Wednesday was a lot of sitting in training. but i have to say that the goofy uniforms i was making fun of are actually really comfortable. how nice is it that i have a job that REQUIRES me to wear a tshirt for a year. beat that.
and today (thursday) was physical day. now everyone on campus knows my fear of needles. (made even dopier by the fact that i have a tattoo.) but i didnt need another tetanus shot, so that was great. and i can hear. and i'm not pregnant and i don't have diabetes. all of these are good, and what they were checking for.
tomorrow we are participating in a day of service for 9/11. i think my project is alley clean up. glamorous, i know. BUT i am told that me and 4 other Team Leaders have been chosen to got to some brief meeting that the governator will be at. we will see if that happens, but if it does, it could be a good story for tomorrow.
i have also taken my first trip to the grocery store and the bx, which is the base exchange. its pretty much a department store and drug store that is tax free on base. oh the adventures.
