blue 3 has arrived safely in LA. our housing is pretty nice, with 3 bedrooms and one bathroom. we are working out the details of the kitchen, meals and shower schedule. looking forward to that stuff being out of the way. gotta be honest, i'm a little overwhelmed by the details right now!
we met with our sponsor today and found out half of us will be working in an elementary school and half of us will be working in a high school. so we took some reading and math tests to see where each of us will be placed. we will be doing prep and planning for a lot of the school day and helping with tutoring and mentoring after the school day is over. Our hours are 9am-6pm. In addition to the school programs one person each day will be helping with holiday wrapping to prepare for a christmas party.
should be a good time, that's all i've got for right now. more another day.
