so this week has been busy. i'm lame and start all my blogs like that. paperwork and prep to leave for spike. i was feeling so hectic that at one point i was only focusing on whatever was next on my list. so one morning i was checking my email in the other (identical!) dorm building right after PT. i promptly forgot i was in the other building and began to focus on my next task (shower). good news, i'm good at focusing. bad news, i walked into someone else's room on my way to take a shower. i stood in the doorway confused for quite a few seconds before i realized what was going on. luckily they were other team leaders and i knew them. good laugh as soon as i figured out what was going on.
we are about to go pack the van to leave TOMORROW for LA! am excited for many reasons.

1. to get out of mcclellan, to see new things!
2. to see if my team will get along or kill each other
3. to cook for only 10 people instead of 30
4. work out details such as housing, PT schedule and work schedule. YAY for having details by this time tomorrow!
on an unrelated note, i went on a pretty sweet 5 mile hike in napa county. a few pictures are above.
