Its been a while since I last wrote, but I saw most of you over Christmas break, so you are all caught up.
We are back in LA and all corps members are working at the elementary school because the high school is still on winter break. The extra corps members have been working on making space more useful. Yesterday they transformed space being used as a closet into an office. Today they began work on a classroom. They organized it and began to put up new bulletin boards. I’m an arts and crafts nerd so I had a good time using the dye cuts (spelling?).
The two corps members that accidentally caused a flood before break are returning tomorrow and we will have one day where we are all at the elementary school.
We are anxiously awaiting the announcement of our next project!
