1. was watching TLC's say yes to the dress with grandma this weekend. (yes, i still watch it even though i do have my dress. no it does not make me want to try on more) The consultant on the show was Diane, (if you dont watch the show this won't make sense) and grandma says "who is that? lady gaga? How does my grandma know who lady gaga is? i thought she only watched "shoot em ups" (her words not mine) and oprah?
2. i heard the words "i think we might be making a bigger deal out of this than we need to be" uttered at work today. it took all that was in me not to stand on a chair and shot "NO KIDDING!" At my office people are always making a bigger deal out of everything than they need to. i think we should change our mission statement to something that expresses that warns others about this tendency.
3. the kids in my neighborhood get to stay up a whole lot later than i ever got to on a school night.
